I was amazed that such a beautiful, detailed embroidery could be created by simply crossing two stitches. For me, Christmas and cross stitch were the perfect match and tri-fold card stock with a large design window was perfect for stitching a small Christmas gift for a friend.  It was also the perfect subject and format to attempt my own design!  Since that beginning, the Fever has inspired a variety of designs beyond Christmas, from small to large, singles and themed groupings, inside as well as outside the frame.  Indeed there is no cure for this Cross Stitch Fever!
