Mrs Peggotty Arts

Betty Mrs Peggotty Arts

Born in a charming Italian coastal town, she has always harbored a passion for art from an early age. Growing up, she nurtured her love for drawing by attending art schools with the goal of becoming an illustrator.

Her early ventures into the professional world led her to the realm of video games, where she discovered a particular affinity for 8-bit graphics. However, her curiosity and desire to explore new horizons propelled her towards other creative fields, such as advertising and children's books.

In 2013, an unexpected gift, Alexandre Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo, changed the course of her life, igniting a fervent passion for classic literature within her. It was at this moment that she decided to merge her passion for illustration with the world of literature, giving rise to Mrs Peggotty Arts.

Mrs Peggotty Arts became her personal project, a space where she could combine her passions in total creative freedom. Through her Etsy shop, she dedicates herself to creating unique digital content. Her embroidery patterns and coloring pages form the beating heart of her business. Drawing inspiration from literary characters and beyond, she enjoys experimenting and blending styles, including pixel art, to create a vast archive of completely original embroidery patterns. Some of her portraits can be found in the bestseller "Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls" by Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo.

Each creation is born from her mind and her hands, transforming her passion for art into a tangible expression that she can share with the world.
